Saluting “A Few Great Men & Women”
Where would be be without the women and men who support us at every turn? They are generous with their time, talent and resources and we cannot thank them enough for their kindness towards us. Our service and work in the community does not happen with the generosity of leaders and stakeholders within the community.
Our Immediate Past President, Lion Susan Belgrave Hamilton, honored 2 outstanding women in our community: Ms. Marcy Kornegay, a retired NYC Corrections Officer and Ms. Wendy Southwell, owner of Tory Hammond Enterprises.
Our Club presented prestigious awards to: The Honorable J. Andre Laveau, Consul General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Sandra Scott, Interim CEO of One Brooklyn Health and The Honorable Wavny Toussaint, an esteemed Supreme Court Justice.
Lastly, our Metro Omega Leo’s presented its Philanthropist of the Year Award to Dr. Nicoya D. Johnson and its Visionary Leadership Award to Mr. Preston James Nelson.
