Celebrating Thanksgiving 2025 with Blankets of Hope
Under the leadership of Lion President Patricia Draghine, the Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club launched Blankets of Hope—a new service project designed to bring comfort to dialysis patients at SUNY Downstate Dialysis Center.
By gifting soft throw blankets to patients after treatment, our Club aimed to offer a small act of kindness with a big impact. Welcomed graciously by the SUNY team, we look forward to continuing this tradition of care and compassion for many Thanksgivings to come.
